Joshua S. Patrick
Joshua joined Lindsay, Pickett & Postel, LLC in February 2018. His practice focuses on the defense of clients in various civil litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Josh worked at a boutique litigation firm in Chicago specializing in representing the interests of the victims of civil rights violations and representing the interests of small businesses and closely-held corporations. Josh also has experience handling personal injury matters on the plaintiff's side of the bar. In this capacity, Josh developed a wide-ranging record of success, trying cases to successful verdict as both a first and second chair trial attorney in state court, federal district court, federal bankruptcy court, and a successful appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Josh is licensed to practice in Illinois state court, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (general and trial bar), the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the US District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Josh is a 2010 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law, where he was a member of the school’s prestigious Moot Court Advocacy Board, twice placing as a semifinalist in national and international competitions, and served as the membership director of the school’s chapter of the American Constitution Society. Outside the office, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
