John P. Canning

John is an experienced litigator who represents clients in insurance coverage and civil litigation matters. He works closely with clients to navigate coverage issues, mitigate risk, and resolve disputes efficiently and strategically. His coverage experience spans multiple product lines, including primary and excess commercial general liability, commercial and personal property, and commercial auto policies.

His broader litigation practice includes premises liability defense, products liability defense, transportation liability defense, and construction litigation. John has represented clients in state and federal courts in complex matters involving additional insured coverage, priority of coverage, contractual indemnification, and other significant coverage and liability issues.

John also serves as the firm’s Pro Bono Coordinator, helping advance the firm’s commitment to providing legal services to individuals and organizations in need.
