Thomas J. A. Weller

Thomas Weller joined Lindsay, Pickett & Postel as an Associate Attorney in 2025. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage counseling and litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Thomas was a law clerk at the Illinois Appellate Court for the Honorable Raymond W. Mitchell for two years. During his clerkship, Thomas drafted opinions and orders covering a wide variety of legal fields including insurance coverage cases.

Thomas graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Law in 2023. While at law school, Thomas spent a summer as a judicial extern at the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County for the Honorable Raymond W. Mitchell, and spent the following summer as a summer associate at an Insurance Defense law firm.

In his free time, Thomas enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction novels, exploring museums, and playing tabletop games with his friends.
